Are the website package prices fixed?
The packages above are based on the more than 100 websites I’ve built for clients over the past 6 years. By now, I know quite well how much time it takes to build a website — including the initial conversations, the design, integrating feedback, building, testing, and all the emails and phone calls in between.
Still, I regularly create a customized quote as well. If you feel that your project doesn’t fit into one of the packages above, then go to the contact page and fill out the quote form. Or call or email me.
How quickly is a WP Twan website ready?
Starter package: +/- 2 to 4 weeks.
Basic package: +/- 4 to 6 weeks.
Growth package: +/- 6 to 8 weeks.
Premium package: +/- 8 to 10 weeks.
It mainly depends on how quickly I receive the content (web copy, photos, website structure). I don’t give guarantees on when the site will be finished. However, if needed, I can prioritize your website and speed up delivery for a small additional fee. This will be agreed upon together, as there are no fixed prices for this.
How many pages does my website need?
That naturally depends on your goal. If you only want an online business card where people can quickly and easily see that you exist and what your company does, then a single page is often enough. The starter package is such a website.
What about SEO and findability — is this included with a website?
Your new WP Twan website is built on a rock-solid technical foundation and always structured in a way that makes sense for search engines. I personally index every site I build using Yoast SEO and Google Search Console. The site will also be well-secured with an SSL certificate and have a clean, logical URL structure — which further improves visibility.
All the websites I build are kept as small (in MBs) as possible. That means optimized images, compressed code, LiteSpeed caching, and CSS optimizations. Fast, lightweight websites are valued by Google.
If SEO (and nowadays also GEO) is important for your business — for example, if your website is part of your marketing strategy and you want to use it to grow your company — then I recommend adding an SEO package. Read more here about the SEO packages.
Does WP Twan help with writing web copy or finding good photos?
Yes. I help brainstorm catchy titles, improve texts here and there if needed, and find suitable images. Of course, that doesn’t mean I write all the texts for my clients — but I do help refine them. When it comes to photos, it’s always best to provide your own original images rather than using stock photos. And if you do use stock photos, make sure to pick high-quality ones from iStock or Unsplash+. I have an Unsplash+ account myself, which you as a client are welcome to use.

Is a WP Twan site easy to update, or will I need you every time?
Yes. You can easily make almost all changes to your WP Twan site yourself. I’ll provide you with a series of short videos explaining (i) how to log in to your WordPress site, (ii) how to edit texts and photos, (iii) how to add blogs or other custom post types, (iv) how to edit contact forms and automated emails, (v) how to restore backups of your website, and much more.
A WP Twan site is built with Elementor Page Builder. This page builder is the easiest to use in WordPress, which is why it’s also the most popular one. Don’t be fooled by its simplicity though — Elementor is extremely powerful, and if you know how to use it well, you can build very complex and dynamic websites with it. All without needing to know any programming code.
What are Custom Post Types?
WordPress is essentially holds 2 post types: Pages and Posts. A custom post type is a self-built post type that can be created with a plugin such as CPT UI combined with Advanced Custom Fields — or simply with Pods.
Examples of Custom Post Types are: Case Studies, Profile pages for employees Product pages in a webshop. lead magnets like downloadable document or E-Books, but also knowledge base articles.
How green is a WP Twan website?
More and more people are becoming concerned about the climate and the emissions we all produce. And rightly so — the earth is warming rapidly, and we notice it a little more each year.
